Navy just dropped anchor on the rest of the college football field in the battle for coolest helmet design.
Working with Under Armour, the Midshipmen unveiled seven different hand-painted helmets for their annual game against Army, which will be Dec. 12 in Philadelphia.
Each design features a specific ship in the U.S. Naval Fleet, and they have been assigned by position. For example, linemen will wear helmets displaying an amphibious assault ship while wide receivers get a submarine.
Here's a look at all seven with a wide view and close-up shots of each:
The rest of the uniform is pretty sharp too.
