LeBron James

The last time Cleveland sports fans had the opportunity to embrace a championship, Jim Brown led the Browns to the NFL championship on December 27, 1964. The Celtics -- led by Bill Russell -- won the NBA title that year, defeating Wilt Chamberlain and the San Francisco Warriors. LeBron James' mother, Gloria, was still three years from birth.

Fast-forward 52 years, and LeBron James and the Cavs returned home Monday with the Larry O'Brien Trophy. The I-X Center crowd broke into a frenzy as the team emerged from its private plane just before 1 p.m., wearing some trendy outfits.

King James had the best outfit. The Finals MVP wore a blue "Ultimate Warrior" T-shirt and a black hat featuring Kermit the Frog sipping tea (symbolic of all the criticism he has received). What a beautiful troll.

Kevin Love donned a flashy gold wrestling championship belt over his left-shoulder, Kyrie Irving rocked a vintage denim jacket, and Tristan Thompson sported some championship gear, which every fan in Cleveland has probably already acquired.

J.R. Smith also had a notable outfit, or lack thereof. It must be laundry day.

The victory parade will be Wednesday in downtown Cleveland for the Ultimate Warriors ... we mean Cavaliers.
