LeBron James

On the same day that Tom Brady declined to tackle the topic, LeBron James said Donald Trump is wrong for using the term "locker room talk" to defend his lewd comments from 2005.

"What is locker room talk to me?" James said Wednesday. "It's not what that guy said. We don't disrespect women in no shape or fashion in our locker rooms. That never comes up.

"Obviously I got a mother-in-law, a wife, a mom and a daughter. And those conversations just don't go on in our locker room."

It was notable that James didn't mention Trump by name. That might rankle Trump as much as James' comments. Here's an extended cut:

James endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in a column he wrote for the Akron Beacon Journal and Business Insider in early October.

Ohio, which has 18 electoral votes, is perennially a battleground state in presidential elections. The state has voted for the winner 13 consecutive times. According to Cleveland.com, Clinton is ahead by 9 percentage points in a poll conducted after the second debate Sunday night.
