LaDainian Tomlinson is one of the greatest Chargers of all time. Specifically, he is one of the greatest San Diego Chargers ever.

Playing in "America's Finest City" from 2001-2009, Tomlinson made five Pro Bowls, claimed three first-team All-Pro nods and won an NFL Most Valuable Player award. He is the franchise rushing leader in attempts, yards and touchdowns.

Now an analyst for the NFL Network, Tomlinson is also a football fan just like the San Diegans who used to pack Qualcomm Stadium during his prime. On Jan. 12, the Chargers announced they are moving to Los Angeles, and Tomlinson gets how hard that could be for long-time supporters.

"I feel for the fans," he says. "I had a great connection with those fans in San Diego when I played there and I know what they're going through, how hurt they are; 55 years in San Diego was a long time, so it takes time to get over a team leaving a city.

"My hope is that the city of San Diego will continue to support the organization."

Asked if he will attend Chargers games in Los Angeles, Tomlinson says, "Yes."

But will fans judge him for supporting the franchise in its new city?

"Probably so. I'm sure," he says. "That's a part of fans that have their own opinion. At the end of the day, I was a Charger, so I still would like to go see a game from time to time."

Tomlinson spoke to ThePostGame from the Nickelodeon "Superstar Slime Showdown at Super Bowl in Houston," along with former Chargers teammate Drew Brees, DeMarcus Ware, Victor Cruz, Wes Welker, Andre Johnson, Nick Cannon and the cast of Nickelodeon's School of Rock.

Cannon, a San Diego native, is reacting in a much different manner than Tomlinson to the Chargers' move. Cannon renounced his fandom, choosing to be a Panthers fan. He spent some of his childhood in Charlotte, along with San Diego.
