Uncle Drew

Uncle Drew is back, making his first appearance in an ad since the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA championship. And Drew's alter ego, Kyrie Irving, played a huge part of the Cavs' clawing back from a 3-1 series deficit.

In the series-saving Game 5, Irving poured in 41 points. Over the seven games, he averaged 27.1 points.

So yeah, he's learned a thing or two about winning. Uncle Drew is all too happy to congratulate him.

In the Pepsi ad, "Champions are Born Out of the Fire," Uncle Drew also sends a message to other basketball players aspiring to similar levels of success.

"Buckets aren't given away," he tells the audience. "Buckets are earned."

It took him time to bring his game around, but Irving eventually did earn those buckets -- and the ring that came with them.
