All too often stories are run about divisiveness and fighting between fans of rival teams. But the beauty of sports is their ability to bring people together.
This was on display after Portugal's defeat of heavily favored France in the Euro 2016 final. Portugal won 1-0, despite losing Cristiano Ronaldo in the first half to injury.
French fans were wrought with misery, but one young Portugal fan paused his celebration to console a crying supporter of Les Bleus.
This is sports at their best -- turning enemies into friends and unifying people from around the world.
