J.R. Smith

With the Indians down 6-3 in the eighth inning of Game 7, Progressive Field held its breath Wednesday night. One notable fan took it upon himself to use his powers for his city. J.R. Smith went shirtless.

They put him on the JumboTron.

And the Indians predicted the Cavs' shooting guard's unselfish act could save Cleveland's baseball team.

They were kind of right. Brandon Guyer drove in one run with a double. Then Rajai Davis hit a game-tying two-run home run to make it 6-6.

The rally nipples worked.

And LeBron James got hyped.

The Indians' rally forced extra innings in Game 7. It doesn't get any better than that. Thanks, J.R.

UPDATE: The Cubs won 8-7 in 10 innings. But Smith tried his best.
