Kenneth Bone, Joe Kelly

Kenneth Bone delivered an important reminder to the American people Sunday night. As dark as times may seem in terms of the presidential election, heroes can still be born, and Bone stole the show at the second debate with a great question and an even better red sweater.

Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly recognizes this. After going 93-69 and winning the AL East, Boston finds itself in an 0-2 ALDS hole to the Indians. But the Red Sox still have hope. Kelly wants that hope to include Bone.

That's right, Bone. After your star-studded performance as an undecided voter, you have free MLB postseason tickets waiting for you at Fenway Park. After all, you're already wearing a red sweater after tearing your olive green suit before the debate.

Here was Bone's question to Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump: "What steps will your energy policy take to meet our energy needs, while at the same time remaining environmentally friendly and minimizing job loss for fossil power plant workers?"

Kelly has done his part in the playoffs, throwing two innings of shutout baseball. But maybe Bone's presence can inspire the rest of the team.
