But with the line of scrimmage being his team's 8-yard line, Rogers received the snap in the end zone and delivered his punt from the goal line.

Yes, Rogers, a senior at Frankton High in Indiana, got a favorable bounce, but the kick landed near the opponent's 30, which means it traveled about 70 yards in the air. The only thing that went wrong was that the ball rolled into the other end zone for a touchback.
Rogers also had some other impressive punts in the same game against Mississinewa.
