Just because the regular season is over does not mean Johnny Manziel is out of the headlines.
In a story broken by Scott Taylor of WOIO TV in Cleveland, the Browns quarterback was cited for driving with an expired license plate just last weekend. The citation was issued on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 2. Manziel is rumored to have been partying in disguise in Las Vegas later that night.

This adds to the Johnny Vegas rumors. Was he rushing to the airport early on Saturday to get a head start on the blackjack table, or does this prove he was in Cleveland that Saturday?
North Olmsted right next 2 Airport but down the road is Browns HQ in Berea & players said Manziel was there. https://t.co/IeuBX3ORBS

Manziel was pulled over in October for a domestic argument while driving the same car. Although his plates expired on Sept. 20, the police let Manziel off with a warning for his plates.

Manziel was under NFL concussion protocol last weekend during the Las Vegas-license plate saga.
Taylor's followers have started giving this incident a nickname: #JohnnyPlateGate.

Rumors continue to swirl of the Browns being "done" with Manziel. If Cleveland does waive Johnny Football, he'll need a new set of plates to get out of the city.
