A disturbing video out of suburban Philadelphia shows a high school basketball coach head-butting a referee Tuesday night:
According to the Philadelphia-based blog City of Basketball Love, the head-butter is Jerry Devine, head varsity coach at Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Devine's outburst allegedly comes after one of his players was called for a charge with 30 seconds left against Pennsbury. A made bucket would have cut Neshaminy's deficit to three points.

Per the Neshaminy High School website, Devine is in his 18th year as an educator and 15th year in the Neshaminy School District, teaching history and algebra. The father of four girls is in his tenth year as Neshaminy's head coach.
Neshaminy placed Devine on administrative leave.
"The athletic program at Neshaminy places the values of fair play and sportsmanlike conduct above all," the school said in a statement. "We expect our coaches and staff to teach and uphold those principles, while acting in a professional manner at all times."
Neshaminy High School was in the news roughly two years ago when the student newspaper, The Playwickian, pledged to stop using the school's nickname, Redskins, in publication.
Devine's most recognizable pupil is Villanova senior Ryan Arcidiacono, the 2014-15 Big East co-Player of the Year. Penn State football coach James Franklin is also a Neshaminy High School graduate.
