How does a team go from ending the Golden State Warriors' undefeated streak to losing to the lowly Los Angeles Lakers in three days?
By partying at a strip club the night before the game.
A TMZ Sports video captures four Bucks -- Greg Monroe, O.J. Mayo, Khris Middleton and Miles Plumlee -- at an L.A. strip club Monday night before the Tuesday evening game.
According to TMZ, the players left the club, Ace of Diamonds, a little after 2 a.m.
The Lakers, who are averaging a point differential of -9.1 this season, beat the Bucks by 18. Monroe, the Bucks' leading scorer, was a late scratch due to a knee injury sustained in practice on the day of the game (and night after partying--he is the one making it rain). Mayo, Middleton and Plumlee were 14-for-34 for 35 points.
Adding insult to injury, the Bucks lost to the Clippers on Wednesday night, 103-90, again without Monroe. For the Bucks, the booze was flowing in Los Angeles, but wins did not follow.
Bucks coach Jason Kidd was not impressed with his team's antics, as seen in tweets Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel posted before the loss to the Clippers:
Kidd on 4 players at strip club night before Lakers: "This is a young team learning to be professional."

Kidd on players in road cities: "You're going to go have dinner and you have to be responsible."

Asked if any internal discipline for 4, Kidd said: "We had that discussion today, so that was enough discipline to have to listen to me."

The Bucks don't return to L.A. the rest of the season, which is fine by Coach Kidd.
