HBO Real Sports Exposes Rio

With only days until the 2016 Summer Olympics get underway, the rapidly building hype surrounding the world's best athletes has been matched by an equally rising amount of controversy regarding the Games' host city.

The presence of the Zika virus, rumors of gang violence, and even reports of the Olympic Village itself being "uninhabitable" have plagued Rio de Janeiro and convinced several prominent athletes worldwide to back out of competitions.

In the latest feature by HBO Real Sports, correspondent Jon Frankel digs even deeper to the already concerning issues surrounding Rio. Speaking to civilians and medical employees, Frankel gives the world an in-depth look at Rio's faulty sewage system and inhumane hospital treatments -- problems that have only been exacerbated by the ridiculous expenses of preparing to host the world's most renowned international sporting event.

The HBO Real Sports feature will premiere on Tuesday at 10 P.M. ET.
