Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck loves books, and now he wants to share that love with you. In a strange but endearing move for an NFL superstar, the Colts quarterback has announced that he's starting an Andrew Luck book club open to anyone who cares to participate.

The club will feature books for both youth and adult readers, accommodating a wide range of reading skill levels.

Luck announced the book club through a post on Instagram:

"I often get recognized by my teammates and the media for my passion for reading. And it's no secret that I enjoy sharing suggestions for books with my teammates, family and friends," Luck said in a release. "So starting this online book club felt like a natural and really fun opportunity.

"AndrewLuckBookClub.com will be a platform for me to share my love of reading with an even larger audience. By using #ALBookClub on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, let's build a community of readers."

For adults, the first book in the book club is The Boys in the Boat, a nonfiction book about the 1936 Olympic U.S. crew team. Kids will read Maniac Magee.
