102-Year-Old Soccer Player

Age is but a number. Between her 102 years of life and the walker she needs to get around, Maria Guadalupe could have made excuses when the Ecuadorian soccer club Barcelona SC inquired about signing her to the team.

Instead, she eagerly signed her contract, and infected her new teammates with a century's worth of joy and passion for the game.

Guadalupe received the honorary offer from the team because she's been a fan for a whopping 91 years. Here is the tweet announcing (in Spanish) the signing of Guadalupe:

Guadalupe also received her own Barcelona kit, and was in attendance for a game against Universidad Católica.

Just more proof that it's not how long you live, it's how you live.
