Life is good for Andre Drummond. The 22-year-old made his first All-Star Game this season, and his 15.0 rebounds per game comfortably lead the league. The Pistons are tied for the No. 7 seed in the East, eyeing the franchise's first postseason appearance since 2008-09.
So with Detroit safely ahead of the Toronto Raptors (currently the No. 2 team in the East) Sunday, Drummond decided to relax with a new friend on the sidelines. He pulled a young fan in the crowd onto the Pistons' bench. Drummond, Reggie Jackson and other Pistons subsequently socialized with the boy.
The Pistons won, 114-101, with Drummond going for 15 points and 18 rebounds.
The only lingering question: did the boy get to keep his Gatorade towel?
