Things may be going poorly for the Montreal Candiens on the ice, but off of it, things are great. At least things are great for one young fan, who had a great interaction with Dale Weise the other night.
Hosting the Columbus Blue Jackets, Weise took a puck and casually tossed it over the glass to the boy.
An adult in the back caught it and handed it to the kid, who proceeded to hug the puck to his face while consumed with unbridled joy.
The Canadiens have lost eight of 10, but for the rest of us who aren't invested in their success or failure, we're content to celebrate these small victories of humanity -- even if that's all Montreal has going for it right now.
