On Monday night, while his Warriors teammates battled the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Draymond Green was in purgatory. Not allowed to be inside Oracle Arena, Green watched the game from a suite at adjacent Oakland Alameda Coliseum with Warriors general manager Bob Myers and former NFL running back Marsahwn Lynch.
Presumably, if Golden State would have closed out the NBA Finals, Green would entered Oracle Arena to thunderous applause during the trophy ceremony.
The Warriors lost, 112-97, so Green did not get applause on the court. However, he did hear "M-V-P!" chants from A's fans on his way back from the bathroom.

Green actually came in seventh in MVP voting, but the chants are a bit ironic, considering Warriors guard Stephen Curry won his second-straight MVP this season.
After Green relieved himself in the Oakland-Alameda Coliseum bathroom (do the suites not have bathrooms?), fans serenaded his box with "We want Draymond!" chants.

And then this LeBron James chant happened.

Bring on Game 6.
