Ronda Rousey

It's now four months to the day Ronda Rousey suffered her first career UFC loss. On Nov. 15, Holly Holm smashed Rousey's face and stripped the celebrity of her UFC Women's Bantamweight belt.

Rousey was medically suspended, disallowing her to fight for 60 days. But perhaps even more sad, Rousey's fruit diet needed to change due to the injuries to her face.

"It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact," she told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne in December.

Well, guess what Rousey did on Monday.

This will get fans buzzing about a Rousey comeback. Holm's 15 minutes of fame ended abruptly earlier this month, as she failed to defend her title against Miesha Tate in Las Vegas. Tate, who now holds the belt, lost to Rousey in March 2012 and December 2013. Rousey is reportedly staying out of the octagon until November, which means Tate will likely have to fight once more before a Rousey-Tate III.

Brazilian Amanda Nunes is believed to be Tate's next competitor.

Of course, if Rousey wants one warm-up for Tate, she could entertain Rousey-Holm II.

For now, it's the little things. Eating apples is a victory for Ronda Rousey.

The apple-biting video was posted to Uninterrupted, an athlete-driven platform. Rousey appeared on the "Direct from the Source: Athletes Unfiltered" panel at South By Southwest shortly before releasing the above video.
