Draymond Green, LeBron James

Draymond Green is a savage. That is all.

Last spring, Green and the Golden State Warriors led the Cleveland Cavaliers 3-1 in the NBA Finals. LeBron James and his mates staged a dramatic comeback -- starting with Game 5, which Green missed due to a suspension -- to shock the NBA world. The Warriors won an NBA-record 73 regular-season games, but they were denied glory in the final three games of the postseason.

The Warriors' blowing a 3-1 lead has become a popular sports meme. This past weekend, James hosted a Halloween party that included a drum reading "3-1 Lead."

Green responded Monday by saying he wants to "destroy Cleveland" if the Warriors meet the Cavs again in the NBA Finals.

On Wednesday, James and Cavs teammates were at Progressive Field for Game 7 of the World Series. James, a noted Indians fan, watched his baseball team fail to finish after a 3-1 series lead, as the Cubs took the game, 8-7 in 10 innings.

And Green was ready to pounce on that.

Christmas can't come soon enough. The Warriors travel to Cleveland for a Dec. 25 meeting at Quicken Loans Arena, directly across from Progressive Field.
