Kobe Bryant

Wanna watch Kobe Bryant's last game in person? You better have a lot of expendable cash. On Wednesday morning, the cheapest tickets available on StubHub were priced at $729 -- and that's for just about the worst seat in the house.

But fans are willing to pay much more than that to be witness to the last appearance of one of basketball's greatest stars. According to ABC News, tickets have gone for as much as $27,500 on the secondary market.

That's for courtside, mind you, but it's well above the $1,000-2,000 that courtside Lakers tickets have cost this season. The average cost for a ticket to Kobe's final game is somewhere near $1,500, and that's before last-minute buyers scoop up their last chances to get into the game.

Here's a testament to Bryant's star-power: Tickets to his final NBA game cost far more than tickets to watch the Golden State Warriors attempt to break the single-season wins record, which is happening tonight at the same time.

Fans attending the Lakers game have plenty to look forward to: People within the organization have already hinted at several surprises taking place before, during and after the game to honor Bryant's legacy.
