This is UFC fighter Matt Mitrione and his new black eye. Mitrione lost his heavyweight fight Sunday night at UFC Fight Night 81 by TKO. Opponent Travis Browne sent him off with this ugly parting gift.

After the dust cleared, Mitrione, 37, who played in the NFL for the Giants, 49ers and Vikings, embraced his now-signature look.

Mitrione entered the evening as the No. 14 heavyweight in the world. His fight was part of the main card in Boston, headlined by T.J. Dillashaw and Dominick Cruz. Cruz took the UFC Bantamweight Championship from Dillashaw with a split decision win.
