Antonio Cromartie is going to be a dad again. No surprise, right? After all, this is the man who struggled to recite all seven of his children's names in a 2010 episode of Hard Knocks (Cromartie now has ten children, not including his soon-to-be-born).
If Cromartie is shocked by the prospect of new children because he already had a vasectomy. In 2013, he told author Nicholas Dawidoff, "I got snipped."
On Tuesday, news surfaced that Cromartie's wife, Terricka Cason, former star of the reality show Candy Girls, is pregnant with twins. Cason, who learned of the pregnancy in October, spoke to US Weekly to try to make sense of everything.
"I really thought I was dreaming, even after, I was just in total disbelief," she says. "I didn't even tell Antonio right away because I didn't think it was possible. I was going back and forth in my head how it could even happen. In my head we were good to go, we were having free sex! I just really thought that his procedure was the best protection you could have at this point.
"Originally, he was like, 'Oh, s--t! Are you serious? How did this happen? It was shocking news for the both of us. It took me a while to process it, but Antonio stood firm and was saying, 'It's God’s will.' And he's been excited the whole time."
Cason and Cromartie married in November 2008, and have had daughter Jurzie, 5, and son Jagger, 3, together. According to Cason, the couple is working on a book and a reality show about blended families.
Cromartie has officially hit Cheaper by the Dozen level.
