Stephon Marbury Museum

Stephon Marbury has been out of the NBA since 2007. But in China, he's never been bigger. Marbury revived his basketball career overseas, becoming maybe the biggest star to ever play in China's professional basketball league, where he's led the Beijing Ducks to three championships.

Marbury's Chinese career is even bigger and crazier than the peak of his NBA stardom. In addition to basketball, he starred as himself in a major theatrical production on China's version of Broadway. In September, he announced the return of his famous 'Starbury' shoe line.

And now, the living legend has his own museum in China.

"Today was one of the best days of my life in opening my own museum The House OF Marbury," said Marbury through his Weibo account, according to China Daily.

"I couldn't have dreamed this dream for myself although God has created another miracle in this life for me. Without my teammates, coaches and fans from Beijing this wouldn't be possible."

Later, Marbury posted a video of Lakers executive Jeanie Buss congratulating him on his new museum.

Few could have predicted this sort of post-NBA life for Marbury, who has previously described himself as being in a bad place following the end of his NBA career. Going to China has changed everything for him, and his starpower shows no signs of dimming.

If you're visiting Beijing anytime soon, check out the House of Marbury and tell us how it looks.
