David Zabolotny

You've never heard of JKH GKS Jastrzebie of the Polska Hokej Liga, but that doesn't matter.

All you need to know is this: the team was primed for a monumental comeback in the Polish Cup semifinal Tuesday. Down 2-0 with under seven minutes to play, the club was on a crucial power play.

Then ComArch Cracovia got a big clear, and this happened:

Goaltender David Zabolotny lost track of his positioning and buried his own club. Under no pressure, with a man advantage, he shoots the puck backwards and scores on himself.

ComArch Cracovia won, 3-0, but Zabolotny was awarded the game's second star. After all, he was the only JKH GKS Jastrzebie player to score.
