Nationals vs. Red Sox

The Washington Nationals had a 2015 to forget. If they can remember, way back in April, the Nationals were on hand for the Red Sox's home opener. If they didn't remember already, they will now.

The Nationals' official 2016 calendar was accidentally printed with a photo of Fenway Park.

Turner Licensing is the calendar publisher for the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA and college universities. It appears someone at Turner searched for the Nationals' 2015 opener and overlooked this photo being taken at a road game.

No, this is not "Nationals Park, Washington D.C."

"Our licensee used an incorrect photo in its 2016 Nationals calendar, a product that the Nationals were not involved in producing," Major League Baseball said in a statement, according to The Boston Globe. "We are working quickly to rectify the situation including recalling the calendars from retail."

So no one from the Nationals reviews the product before it is put on the market?

As Yogi Berra said, "A home opener is always exciting, no matter if it's home or on the road."

In other news, Jonathan Papelbon just received his calendar. He's scapegoating Bryce Harper.
