Karl-Anthony Towns made history as the first player with a hyphenated name to be No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft. (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was still known as Lew Alcindor when the Bucks drafted him first in 1969.) There has only been one such player in NFL history: Penn State running back Ki-Jana Carter went first overall to the Bengals in 1995. Carter was not part of our quiz in which we gave Towns some background info and asked him to come up with the person's hyphenated name, but it did include a recently retired NFL running back.
