Sorry, everyone: Ronda Rousey found herself a boyfriend.
The UFC star, who had previously bemoaned the challenges of finding a relationship with someone who wasn't motivated to date her by her celebrity status, confirmed in a statement that she is in a relationship with a fellow UFC fighter.
Travis Browne, a heavyweight fighter, broke the news of their relationship during an interview with MMA Hour, telling the program that, "She's my woman."
But he was quick to criticize the "dating" label.
"There's no boyfriend, girlfriend stuff," Browne said. "There's no dating. We're together."
Shortly after Browne spilled the beans, Rousey confirmed the relationship through a short statement delivered to ESPN:
"I don't talk about my personal life much. That's why it's called 'personal life. It's true that Travis and I are in a relationship. I've really enjoyed the time we have spent together and getting to know one another. And that's all I'm going to say about it."
Browne recently went through a two-month period where UFC was investigating him regarding domestic violence accusations from his ex-wife. The investigation did not find any evidence to back up the claims, allowing Browne to put that experience in the past.
With this revelation, it sounds like Browne and Rousey were together during that period. Either way, Rousey sounds pretty determined to keep her relationship out of the media spotlight, so don't expect her to start gushing stories.
All you need to know is: She's taken.
