David Ortiz

Most players would be happy to lead off the ninth inning with a single, especially with their team trailing.

But David Ortiz is not most players.

The Boston Red Sox's DH lined a base hit into center field during the team's 7-2 loss against the Texas Rangers Tuesday, breaking his bat over his knee before even getting to first base.

Why was Big Papi so upset? Well, the team could've used more than just a single down so many runs. But considering the pitch was thrown low and well outside the zone, it's still impressive Ortiz put wood on it.

This isn't the first time he's taken out his frustration on an inanimate object. This dugout phone suffered a similar, perhaps even worse, fate.
