College Football Team Helps Player Propose With Performance Set To 'Thinking Out Loud'

Things clicked for the Samford University football team last Saturday. The FCS Bulldogs cruised past VMI, 55-21.

But Samford's best play call came after the game. The team broke into a choreographed performance to Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," as junior linebacker Deion Pierre proposed to girlfriend Jasmine Henderson. She said yes.

Pierre, who had a pick-six in the win, noted, "I won twice today."

People fall in love in mysterious ways. And maybe it's all part of a plan.
