Colin Kaepernick has listed his Bay Area home for sale, as reported by the Los Angeles Times, which fuels speculation that the quarterback will leave the 49ers as a free agent after this season.
Kaepernick relayed word through a 49ers spokesman that this was an "investment decision" but declined to elaborate. From the reporting by Cam Inman of Bay Area News Group: "As Kaepernick walked onto the University of Central Florida practice field Thursday, he was asked about his house, and rather than comment, he smiled and kept walking."
