Fox announced Sunday that Alex Rodriguez will serve as an MLB analyst through the World Series. The New York Yankees designated hitter was officially introduced on Fox NFL Sunday.

A-Rod, a former high school quarterback at Westminster Christian School in Palmetto Bay, Florida, was given a football to show off his skills. He slings the pigskin at Jay Glazer, overthrowing him (it is not that bad of a throw and maybe Glazer should stick to breaking news) and breaking TV monitor.

Michael Strahan looks like he is going to pull something laughing so hard.

Did the Yankees not think Rodriguez had the arm to play third base this season?

A-Rod apologized on Twitter:

The 40-year-old Rodriguez hit a surprising 33 home runs with 86 RBI in 2015. The Yankees lost to the visiting Astros in the AL Wild Card Game.
