Kevin Love

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving combined for 82 points in the Cavaliers' NBA Finals Game 5 win Monday. Lost in the game was Kevin Love's meager stat-line: Two points, three rebounds, one assist, two turnovers and four personal fouls -- all in 33 minutes of play.

Love hasn't lived up to his surname in this Finals. The three-time all-star is averaging 8.8 points in four games, well below his regular-season average of 16.0.

Trade rumors swirl, and many analysts expect Love to play elsewhere for the 2016-17 season. But one Cleveland fan, Giles Debenham, is not willing to wait longer to bid Kevin Love adieu.

Debenham started a GoFundMe page urging the Cavaliers to sit Love for Game 6 of the NBA Finals Thursday night. "Kevin Love is playing like a bum and just taking up room on the court," Debenham writes. "Pay this man to take a seat and let the Cavs win these finals!!"

The fundraising goal is lofty: $10 million -- just about $9.6 million less than the paycheck Love gets for this season. So far, Debenham has raised a mere $60, which seems low, but 12 people have actually donated $5 each to persuade head coach Tyronn Lue to sit Love.

The comments on the page by donors are nothing short of hilarious.

Jestin Taylor, who donated $5, says, "Q: What’s the difference between Kevin Love and a dollar bill? A: You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill."

A donor whose name is Kelly Olynyk (but is probably not the Celtics' Kelly Olynyk) writes, "Let’s Go GSW."

The page has also caused quite a bit of debate, as seen by this exchange:

Shannon Richmond Berrios: "This is a joke! I'm a victim of a senseless crime in Cleveland and people like you are abusing what go fund me accounts are suppose to be used for. I almost died and left paralyzed due this senseless crime. People like you make it hard for people like me that need help with donations. I need help with physical therapy to try and walk again. Shame on you!"

Warren Church: "Shannon, GoFundMe was actually intended for supporting new ideas, products and companies. Not for repairing people's lives although that is a good use (despite a lot of lying and abuse). None of the people who donate to this page were ever going to donate to your gofundme, so it's kind of pointless for you to vent your frustration here. Good Luck. Also, Love is a good player, Lebron kinda treats his teammates like s***. He's an amazing player, but not a great leader."

We'll see if $60 does the trick. Or lights a fire under Kevin Love's butt.
