Brandon Marshall Issues Challenge

With quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's contract dispute finally over after the Jets agreed to bring him back for 2016, New York star wideout Brandon Marshall has reason to be confident. So confident, as a matter of fact, that he's putting the league's best on blast.

In this video posted to Marshall's Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, he strolls around a New York car dealership before making an impressively bold wager toward a certain Pittsburgh Pro Bowl receiver:

@ab I've never seen you back down from a challenge. #race4pinks

"AB man, I've seen you boys driving those Rolls Royces in camp, I'll show you how we do it in New York," Marshall says. "Let's race for pinks, bro, any day ... or if you get more receiving yards than me, I'll get you the Porsche; if I have more receiving yards than you, you gotta get me the Rolls Royce."

With that bold proposal, the die has been cast. Marshall's confidence is justified, as his first season with Fitzpatrick saw him post career-highs of 1,502 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns at the age of 31. But the 28-year-old Brown has led the league in receiving yards for two straight seasons, including a staggering 1,834 in 2015, and could be in line for an even greater offensive role considering the recent suspensions of teammates LeVeon Bell and Martavis Bryant.

Consequently, Brown is pretty confident himself -- but he's a bit skeptical that the bet will even get underway at all, courtesy of TMZ Sports.

"He don't really wanna do that. He just wants some PR. He too old to be doing that," Brown told TMZ. "The RR is about $100k up [from the value of the Porsche]. If he really serious, CALL ME ... I'll gladly accept."

Your move, Brandon.
