It's time to put out a HIIT on belly fat. This workout from Men's Health Fitness Director B.J. Gaddour, C.S.C.S., uses high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to torch a ton of calories -- not only during your workout, but long after you leave the gym.

In fact, performing this type of "strength-cardio" workout can help you lose two inches around your middle in 8 weeks, a Greek study found.

One caveat: You can't overeat and expect results; your nutrition needs to be as strong as your workout. (Get help from the Lose Your Spare Tire program -- a complete diet and exercise plan that’ll help you drop 20, 30, even 50 pounds and flatten your belly forever.)

How to Do It
Perform the following four movements in the order shown:
Exercise 1. Pushup-position row
Exercise 2. Skier swing
Exercise 3. Lateral squat switches
Exercise 4. Clean to push press.

Do as many reps of an exercise as possible in 45 seconds, rest 15 seconds, and then move on to the next movement. After you complete Exercise 4, rest 1 minute. That’s 1 round. Do a total of 6 rounds -- for a 30-minute workout that’ll bust your gut for good.
