Last weekend, Todd Durkin, C.S.C.S., author of The IMPACT! Body Plan challenged you to a grueling pushup test involving the Tabata Protocol. Now, he wants you to use the same fast-and-furious Japanese training technique to hit your six-pack muscles. Here's how it works: Do as many situps as possible for 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds, and repeat, continuing for 8 rounds. Total time: 4 minutes.
Ready to try it? Watch the video below to see how to perform the challenge. Durkin completed 79 situps in 8 rounds. What was your score? Let us know in the comments below.
Now that you've torched your abs, get outside and work on your cardio strength with The Horrible Hill Circuit.
