Happy Birthday, Martina Hingis
 

Martina Hingis was born September 30, 1980.

Hingis was the youngest woman to win the Australian Open and Wimbledon. She took both tournaments in 1997 when she was 16 years, 3 months at Australian and 16 years, 9 months at Wimbledon.

She also won the U.S. Open in 1997, then repeated as champion at the Australian in 1998 and 1999. The French Open was the one major she never won in singles.

HIngis retired in 2003 because of multiple injuries. She returned in 2005 but left the game again in 2007.

In 2013, she made another comeback with a focus on doubles. In 2015, she won a five Grand Slams titles in doubles and mixed doubles.
