Dennis Scott

Dennis Scott was born September 5, 1968.

A tremendous long-range shooter, Scott was part of the Lethal Weapon 3 combination with Kenny Anderson and Brian Oliver that helped Georgia Tech reach the 1990 Final Four.

Scott was the first-round pick of the Orlando Magic in 1990. He was part of the team that went to the NBA Finals in 1995 before losing to Houston.

Scott played 10 NBA seasons, mostly with the Magic. He averaged 12.9 points for his career with his best season coming in 1991-92 at 19.9

On April 18, 1996, Scott set the NBA record for most three-pointers in a game with 11.

He is now a commentator on NBA TV.
