Hannah Storm was born on June 13, 1962.

A pioneer among women with sports television, Storm joined ESPN in 2008 and currently works as anchor on SportsCenter.

After graduating from Notre Dame and working local markets in Texas and North Carolina, Storm received her first national gig in 1989 with CNN, where she was the first female host of Sports Tonight.

She moved to NBC in 1992 just in time to cover the Olympics in Barcelona. She stayed with NBC for a decade, working major events including the NBA, MLB and NFL.

In October 2002, she switched to news coverage as a host of The Early Show on CBS.

Storm has been an instrumental figure in leading the way for women who seek a career in sports broadcasting.
