Randall Craig Cobb was born May 7, 1950.

Cobb is a former heavyweight boxer that went 42-7 in his 19-year career that ended in 1993.

Cobb got his start in kickboxing, but later transitioned to boxing in the late 1970s. He competed for the heavyweight championship in 1982, but lost to Larry Holmes. Cobb went the distance against Holmes, but the match was so one-sided that Howard Cosell, who was broadcasting it for ABC, in effect quit boxing while on the air.

After his boxing career was over, Cobb took on acting as a new profession. He appeared in shows like "Walker, Texas Ranger" and movies like "Ace Venuture: Pet Detective."
