Jeffrey John Hornacek was born May 3, 1963.

Hornacek is the head coach of the Phoenix Suns, leading the team to an 87-77 record the past two seasons. He also had a 15-year career as a player.

He led the Suns to four straight playoff appearances from 1989-1992. He averaged 20.1 points and made the All-Star team in 1992 before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.

After playing for the 76ers, he was a part of the Utah Jazz teams that made the NBA Finals twice and eventually lost to the Chicago Bulls.
