April 13, 1978: Coming off from a three-home-run game to close out the 1977 World Series, Reggie Jackson hit another one in the 1978 home opener at Yankee Stadium.

Jackson, who previously said he would have a candy bar named after him if he played with the Yankees, was greeted with Reggie! bars when he came back out to the field.

Jackson led the Yankees to their second straight World Series in October of 1978.
