Hunter Andrew Pence was born April 13, 1983.
Pence is one of the longstanding figures on a San Francisco Giants team that won World Series in 2012 and 2014.
He's been with the Giants since July 2012, when the Philadelphia Phillies traded him to the Giants at the deadline. He previously played for the Houston Astros.
His speeches apparently helped the Giants bond together to win the 2012 World Series, but it was his bat that did the talking in 2014. He batted .444 with 5 RBI in the World Series run.
