Donald Howard Sutton was born April 2, 1945.

Sutton racked up 324 wins in his 23-year career, most of which was spent with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He also ranks seventh on the all-time strikeouts list, with 3,574.

He made four All-star teams in his career, and won the MVP of the 1977 All-Star game. Sutton pitched in four World Series and had a combined record of 2-3, but never won a championship.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame 1998.
