Joakim Simon Noahm was born February 25, 1985. His genes are really good. His dad is French singer and former world No. 3 tennis player Yannick Noah, winner of the French Open in 1983, and Cécilia Rodhe, Miss Sweden 1978.

Noah was born in New York City. But he lived in Paris, France, from 1988-1999, before returning to New York at age 13.

Noah would attend the University of Florida, where he would help lead the Gators to back-to-back national championships in 2006, 2007. In the first final, his stats were: 16 points, 9 rebounds, and a championship game record 6 blocks. He was named the Most Outstanding Final Four Player.

Noah was a force in college:

The Chicago Bulls selected Noah as the ninth overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. Since joining the Bulls, Noah is a two-time All-Star and the 2014 NBA Defensive Player of the Year. In his seven year career, he's averaged 9.4 rebounds per game.
