Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was born Floyd Joy Sinclair on February 24, 1977. He is now pound-for-pound the best fighter in the world.

Boxing has always been a part of Mayweather's life and in his blood. His father, Floyd Mayweather Sr., was a former welterweight contender who fought Hall of Famer Sugar Ray Leonard. His uncles (Jeff Mayweather and Roger Mayweather) were professional boxers.

Mayweather had an amateur record of 84–6 and won national Golden Gloves championships in 1993. He earned the nickname "Pretty Boy" Floyd.

He turned into "Money" Mayweather later in his professional career because of how much money he's won, which now stands over $400 million. He's 47-0 in his career. Mayweather is the WBC, WBA and Ring welterweight champion, and the WBC Super, WBA, and Ring junior middle weight champion.
