It seems like Coach K has been at Duke forever. The second-longest tenured basketball coach in the country (only Jim Boeheim has him beat), Mike Krzyzewski has become synonymous with Duke.
But, as hard as it is to believe, there was a time before he was roaming the floor at Coach K court.
As you may or may not know, Krzyzewski went to West Point and captained the basketball team there. He was coached by none other than Bob Knight.
Recently a photo emerged from Krzyzewski's senior season at West Point, and it is wonderful. Check out Krzyzewski's with a wonderful head of hair.
If you read the goofy description, you can see that even in college, people were having fun with trying to pronounce Krzyzewski's name.
