As Serena Williams smashes toward history, her presence has become larger than life. Gatorade commissioned a team of artists from around the world to paint a mural of Williams' 21 grand slam titles.

Each major championship has its own image in the mural, located in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, and other nuggets pop up. The artwork was finished Monday night.

With a U.S. Open title, Williams would tie Steffi Graf for most Grand Slam titles in the Open Era (22) and join her as the second player to win a calendar Grand Slam. A seventh U.S. Open crown would also give her the most in the Open Era.
