Toronto's crack-smoking, football-loving mayor made his Super Bowl allegiance clear this week when he showed up to a press conference wearing a Denver Broncos jersey.
Rob Ford, whose indiscretions have made him somewhat of a punching bag on Twitter and in the media, is also an avowed football fan. With the biggest game of the year on Sunday, Ford surprised Canadian journalist by showing up to a press conference wearing a No. 74 Orlando Franklin jersey.

At first glance this might seem like a random choice for Ford, but his choice of player is likely a shout-out to Denver's Toronto-raised offensive tackle. Upon hearing of Ford's attire, Franklin thanked the mayor on Twitter.

This isn't the first time Ford has worn a football jersey to work. He once wore a personalized Toronto Argonauts jersey to a city council meeting.
