Even by Stevan Ridley's lofty standards, the outfit he wore on Wednesday was absolutely ridiculous.
The New England Patriots starting running back has been known to wear an adult onesie, or as he sometimes calls it, the "Teletubby outfit." He even got his fellow running backs to don the outfits for one hilarious photo.
On Wednesday Ridley added a new element to his onesie, bringing it to unforseen levels of absurd. To protect himself against the snow, the Mississippi native donned rainbow-colored moon boots. Yes, you read that correctly.
"It's Boston, man,” Ridley told reporters. "This is my stay-warm outfit."
The onesie/moon boots combination is perhaps a little over-the-top. A big jacket, for example, might suffice. But if it works for Ridley, good for him.
